  • Address the planning factors described in 23 CFR §450.306
  • Include both short and long-range strategies that provide for a multi-modal transportation system
  • Be updated every-four-years for areas in non-attainment of the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS)

Metropolitan Transportation Plan (2040)

The 2040 Metropolitan Transportation Plan was approved by the BTPO Policy Board on October 7,  2019.  The air quality conformity determination for the 2040 Metropolitan Transportation Plan was also approved by the BTPO Policy Board on October 7, 2019.  The Federal Highway Administration and Federal Transit Administration issued the finding that the BTPO Air Quality Determination conforms to the current Idaho State Implementation Plan on October 16, 2019
