Online Public Outreach
Bannock Transportation Planning Organization conducted a Transit Stop Accessibility Study for Pocatello Regional Transit’s transit routes. The Bus Stop Accessibility Study analyzes the accessibility and connectivity of the Pocatello Regional Transit fixed-route bus stops. The study evaluated each stop to determine if the stop meets the Proposed Guidelines for Pedestrian Facilities in the Public Right-of-Way. The study will assist Pocatello Regional Transit in prioritizing system improvements.
COVID restrictions limit the ability to conduct public involvement and outreach. BTPO has created a Story Map that provides a summary of the study results. The story map includes interactive maps of critical data.
The online public meeting is available from October 20 to November 20, 2020.
