The Bannock Transportation Planning Organization (BTPO) requests proposals for the services to update the Travel Demand Modeling to the base year of 2025, update the current socioeconomic projects from 2050 to 2060 in five-year intervals, and provide on-call services in accordance with the scope of services provided within this Request for Proposals (RFP). The Request for Proposals (RFP) includes an update and enhancement of the Bannock Transportation Planning Organization (BTPO) Travel Demand Model (TDM) and the update of the socioeconomic projections to 2060, and to provide on-call technical assistance for an additional 24 months. Currently, the BTPO staff maintains the regional TDM. The TDM and socioeconomic projections are updated every five years. The last update occurred in 2021 and was validated with 2020 traffic data. BTPO has projections for households, housing units, population, and employment extending to 2050 in five-year intervals. The latest version of the model was developed in TransCAD 8.0, but BTPO now uses TransCAD 9.0. Find detailed information about the RFP here.
